- Manzu advised the MP to consider taking in the application especially now that he has met the beautiful woman

Swahili TV news anchor Ali Manzu has reacted to Mumius East MP Peter Salasya's move to turn down the lady who had shot her shot at the parliamentarian.
Why Ali Manzu wants Salasya to be quick
A day ago, TUKO.co.ke reported the young parliamentarian treated the woman to lunch, and they seemingly had a good time; he confessed that she had a good future.
Salasya said courage and charisma would take her places and further suggested she could join politics in the future.
Lydia Erad had appeared online with a placard declaring her interest in being the first-time MP's wife.
However, while reading the news on KTN, Manzu was amused by the MP's reaction to the proposal, and he offered advice to Salasya
“Kwa Omwami Salasya hapo kidogo umechemsha kakangu. Mali huyo amekuja amelia mpaka umempa fursa mmekutana naye. Badala ya kumsikiza vizuri unamkabidhi jukumu lingine la kuenda kusimamia county ya Kisii kule kama mwakilishi wa kike. Ebu fanya hima, uwe makini zaidi,” he said.
Salasya has been eyed by so many women since he announced he is running for MP, and while he has openly said he's not ready to date, ladies are unrelenting in their quest to get him to commit.
He recently said his wife-searching committee has reported that it has received numerous marriage proposals.
Salasya noted that the vetting committee is working tirelessly to find him an ideal woman for him to settle with.
Kisii woman interested in Salasya is musician
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke spotlighted the Kisii woman who boldly declared interest in Salasya after saying she is a gospel artiste specialising in praise and worship music.
“I will subscribe to your YouTube channel and pay for your songs pending production in studio. Lydia Ronad, I promise you will succeed in the industry of art,” said Salasya.
It's still unclear if this love interest was genuine or the lady is using this moment to publicise her career as an artiste.
