Just a day after Kenyan comedian Meshak Kiprop pseudonym Arap Uria met his role model, British sports commentator Peter Drury, the comedian was treated to a three-day trip to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Uriah, who wanted to meet his role model sports commentator Peter Drury, can now smile after a Kenyan travel company gave him a three-day trip to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Uriah awarded a fully funded trip
According to information distributed at Expeditions Safaris, Arap Uriah will enjoy a fully funded vacation stay of three days and two nights.
“Wow! Congratulations to Arap Uriah on meeting the best football commentator in the world, Peter Drury. Who else would like to see these two on a Masai Mara safari? Mark them tutacheza kama sisi,” the company wrote on its social media account.
A few days ago, the comedian published photo about himself on his Twitter page, holding a poster asking him to meet his icon Drury.
A dream came true for Uriah
Previously TUKO.co.ke wrote that the Kenyan comic was scheduled for the meeting with a British sports commentator who was also in Qatar for World Bowl.
The comedian is known outside Kenya for his perfect Drury lip syncs football Comments.
Sports commentator Jim Beglin, who helped connect them, also shared a post on his Twitter page.
The news of Uriah's meeting with Drurie excited the comedian's fans and most of them congratulated him.
Drury gives Uriah props for imitating him
In April of this year Drury praised Uriah for perfect lip-syncing of his comments.
Uria mimicked Druri's comment during Roma's Champions League comeback against Barcelona back in 2018, as well as his video went viral, attracting the attention of an international commentator.
In a powerful message to the comedian, the football pundit described his videos as horribly funny and wished he would meet him soon.
