Veteran musician Kevin Bahati can now take the husband of the year award after transforming his bedroom to suit his wife who recently gave birth.
Bahati's surprise to Diana Marua
At the beginning of the video, Bahati kept complaining about how the budding superstar he is married to was unprepared with the baby's items.
“Alinitumia list ya vitu nafaa kununua nikshangaa what has she been doing for the nine months. Alikuwa anajua tu hana hizi vitu and you know a man is a man so kile nitanunua she will have to like,” he said.
What Diana did not know was that Bahati arranged to add everything she would need for her to be comfortable nursing their newborn daughter, whom they named Malaika.
After picking her up from the hospital, Diana was overjoyed when she got home and her hubby said he had a surprise for her.
It started at the door when she was gifted a stroller that could still turn into a carrier for the baby depending on the age.
When they got to the bedroom door, he asked her to count up to three and walk in. She was left speechless with her mouth wide open.
There was a comfortable sofa, that was placed opposite the window. Next to their king-size bed.
Near the wall was a movable baby's cot for their newborn child and Diana couldn't stop looking at how comfortable the mattress was for their baby.
Bahati also bought another cot and this was in a basket form meaning a baby can be placed on the bed in it and it came with a mosquito net.
However, what caught the YouTuber's attention was the bath station to wash her baby. According to Diana, she could not bend yet as her wound was still healing and the bath station was high enough to help her wash her daughter.
She hugged her husband and thanked her for his generosity and also for going all out to ensure that she and the baby are comfortable.
Bahati, kids surprise Diana Marua
Bahati and his kids showed up and showed out during Diana Marua's birthday, surprising her with flowers and a new phone.
The father of five gushed over his wife, noting that she took care of the kids well and deserved all the nice things in the world.
Diana was still in the hospital after her delivery, and she was surprised when her children walked in with flowers.
