While many people try to cover their rent every month, Beyoncé reportedly earned KSh KSh 34m per minute for a private show in Dubai on Saturday, January 21.
The 41-year-old singer appeared at an exclusive event where she made her first live concert in four years.
To celebrate the opening of the city hotel Atlantis Royal, she sang 19 tracks over an 85-minute period.
According to reports seen Unilad, the singer took home a whopping $24 million (KSh 2.98b) for her problems.
When the staggering amount is calculated per minute, you get $282,352 ($34 million) per minute.
Beyoncé didn't show any of her new music in the setlist, but she performed hits including Beautiful Liar, Halo, a crazy lover and a drunken lover.
During the show, she treated the selected audience to a special moment when she brought her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, to the stage to sing a duet with her.
The pair teamed up to sing Brown Skin Girl, and Beyoncé told the audience:
“Where are all my brown skin girls? Give it up for the sake of my baby, my brown skin girl, Miss Blue Ivy Carter.”
The young girl was wearing a sparkling red suit with the coaches and her mom touched her face affectionately as they sang together and the singer told the crowd:
“Love for all girls with brown skin. If you love women with brown skin, help me sing.”
