Cockroaches in the kitchen
Tom Williams got into a pay dispute with his former boss, forcing him to make a creepy crawl.
The 25-year-old culinary master was linked to his former employer due to unpaid vacation after leaving his position at the Royal William IV pub in Lincoln.
According to Subway, Williams threatened to unleash a cockroach bomb in the kitchen if he was not paid.
Prosecutor David Gert noted that Williams justified his threat a few days later by releasing cockroaches that are a non-local species.
Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary with the intent to cause criminal harm at the facility. He was also accused of not surrendering to the authorities.
Softening this, Williams said he was outraged by the management's failure to pay him, but he was the breadwinner for his son as the sole custodian.
Presiding Judge Katharina Sølin Knight, while making her decision, she swipe on Williams, branding it immature for her age.
“Your son and society as a whole could benefit from you growing up,” the judge said.
Williams was given one year of five-month prison sentence with a suspended sentence of two years, and a judge warned him against breaking the law.
