Joke Silva, netizens engage in an argument over tribute to Queen Elizabeth
The late Queen Elizabeth II, who ruled for 70 years, died yesterday at the age of 96. The late Queen survived wars, colonial times and pandemics before dying due to a brief illness.
Buckingham Palace said it had started having “episodic mobility problems”.
In a tribute to the monarch posted on Instagram Thursday night, Silva said;
“Her Majesty has dedicated her life to service, her country and her commonwealth…. with grace. And with grace, she began her next journey.”

Some netizens, however, frowned at her tribute.
An Instagram user identified as Lexx wrote: “Mom, these people are robbing us. You're on our mummy, and there's no folly.”
The joke replied;
“You don't have to like her because I do,”
Another user identified as Yenubien, who appears to be the actress's niece, added: “Oh no, it's not that aunt's move.”
“My niece doesn't like the queen,” The 60-year-old responded.
“Not at all; millions of people were killed and captured during her reign, she never apologized for slavery and she died dirty rich on her backs and hard work of oppressed people from dozens of countries colonized by the crown. Let her retreat in the same peace that her (c) actions caused her colonial subjectsJock's niece replied.
