Tanzanian boxing sensation Karim Mandonga alias Mtu Qazi expressed his excitement about defeating rival Daniel Wanyoni and leaving with the victory.
Mandonga in the singular fanned a boxing match that pulled a crowd of mammoths at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC).
Many Kenyans praised Mandonga's antics, and some called him real show business.
Mandonga will return to Kenya
The famous boxer thanked the Kenyans for coming out in large numbers and cheering him up during the long-awaited fight.
“Mashabiki wa Kenya nimevakubali kwa support yao. Dakika ya mwisho wameshangilia Mandonga kwa bidii,” he said.
The vocal boxer vowed to return to the country in April for another boxing match.
“Mwezi wa nne narudi tena Nairobi, Kenya… Nakuja sasa kumzika mtu chapo. Roundi ya kwanza kaburi lake liko wapi? Mvekeni pale. Nitakuja tena na ngumi nyingine. Sio Sugunyo tena,” Mandonga said.
