Life Coach Slams Those Who Remain Friends with Ex-Lovers, Says It’s an Insult: “Let Go of This Baggage”
- Ace Metaphor noted that former lovers should prioritize their current partners rather than be offended by remaining friends with former lovers
- The life coach noted that the former are baggage that should be left in the past and not carried forward in a new relationship
- Netizens, however, quickly stood up for some of the exes, saying that while their relationship didn't work, they were best friends
Ace Metaphor, a motivational writer, has pounced on people who bring their former lovers into their new relationships as friends.
Exes must be former blessings
The life coach resolutely stated that the former lover in no case can be considered a friend, since this is an insult to the current partner.
On TikTok video, The metaphor gestures briskly as he stigmatizes liars, those who hold ex as friends.
According to New York Post, Metaphor pointed out that someone's former escape is not a friend because their past relationships go deeper. He said old partners should be left in the past.
“He knew you inside and out, and you're going to drop this whole story by saying it's my friend? No, it's your mother—the former. So I don't agree with calling my former friends,” Metaphor said.
Metaphor added that the former should only be called ex-blessing, ex-d*com and ex-communication.

“You're bringing these exes into a new relationship, which is unfair for your future husband to have to deal with. It is reasonable for me to expect that when you come into my life, you will let go of that baggage and you are willingly friends with luggage?”
