Bien Aime of Sauti Sol praised Them Mushrooms band member John Katana, saying he noticed their talent.

Bien said Katana was impressed with their performance more than a decade ago when they performed at an event in the city.
He added that their band is committed to giving the go-ahead music which lasts for generations just like They Mushrooms.
Bien said plans are underway for the two groups to give their fans a taste of their music together.
“No one should lie to you, they discovered Southie Sol. John Katana did, and the legacy of Ni Mushrooms lives in South Sol,” he said.

He positively assured fans that they should look forward to projects in the near future.
The bien performed on the sidelines of the Sol Fest 2022 media briefing, where he promised fans quality music that meets international standards.
He assured fans of a memorable show that promises to be bigger and better than international festivals.
61m KS at Sol Fest 2022
He said that Sol Fest organizers have invested 61 million KSh to provide perfect and smooth preparation ahead of the grand concert, which will take place at KICC in Nairobi.
“The cast of performers will be amazing. It will be a success, we are pushing it towards international standards and will be bigger and better than continental ones like Nyege Nyege,” Bien said.
Bien said the band spent millions to get fans the best experience during the grand concert.
“Expect a phenomenal experience. The show is that we celebrate our values of excellence. We expect more than 15,000 service personnel,” he said.
