Southy Sol chose the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) as the new venue for Sol Fest 2022.
Sol Fest 2022 switches to KICC
The award-winning group said in a statement that switching from Fox Drive-In to KICC should have ensured the safety of partygoers.
“Sol Fest's number one priority is the safety of our patrons, artists and partners,” the statement said, in part.
He added:
“It has been found that the areas surrounding the previous place of choice for SolFest (Fox Drive-In, Thika Road) have had a significant increase in criminal activity in recent months.”
