The designer talks about the creative process
In exclusive with Legit.ng Stassia, the designer, said she was “nervous” when the bride contacted her to make a dress, especially because of the time frame that didn't give room for mistakes.
Despite the series of challenges she faced, Stacia – who was in business for seven years – said the dress came out perfectly after “180 hours plus 5 days of 1-hour sleep at night.”
“It seemed to be perfect, no adjustments were made,” According to her, revealing that this was her first wedding client.
The bride wanted something unique and stylish
Meeting the expectations of her client, Stacia said:
“She said she wanted something unique, simple yet stylish that she could also wear to her reception and still swing anyway, even after the wedding. And she wanted to stand out and admire everyone present at her wedding.
“Immediately they delivered the parcel to her, I received a frank video she was very excited when she received the package. In addition, her husband turned to me to specifically thank me so that I knew I had met her expectations.”
Stacia revealed that even though she charged the bride N85,000 8,000 for a dress and bouquet, she received an additional 8,000 KSh from her fiancée's husband after the couple saw the dress.
A man comes to the wedding in a coffin
Separately, the man shared video the groom, who made an unusual entrance to the place of his wedding in the box.
The bride looked somewhat surprised when the coffin with the man's living body “walked” down the aisle.
