Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya has gone all out for his Kenyan wife Miss Trudy on Christmas Day.
Wode Maya's Christmas surprise for Miss Trudy
A video posted on YouTube depicted the content creator surprising Trudy with a new SUV for the holidays.
Maya, who wedded Trudy in September, said that he left the house in the morning telling his wife he would go jogging, but he had other plans.
He instead went to a car yard and bought a brand new Toyota Fortuner that costs over KSh 9 million.
“We met four years ago and we've been through it all. Trudy has never asked for money for hair, dresses or anything.
It is time to give husbands out there pressure. I don’t need a car as I will miss interactions with people I meet and Uber drivers.”
Maya then called Trudy, who relocated to Ghana to get ready for him, saying they would go visit his mother.
When he arrived back home, Maya told her that he had ordered an Uber for them.
However, once outside, he unveiled the black SUV with ribbons. Trudy could not believe her eyes and thought her husband was pranking her.
“Babe thank you so much I can’t believe this. This is crazy. I have always wanted big cars like this. Do you know there are rich people's cars?”
Maya explained that he bought the vehicle so Trudy could explore Ghana. Trudy then looked back at how far they had come, saying:
“He had nothing when we met but over the years he has done a lot for his family and many other people. When you meet a boy don’t judge him because of where he is at the movement but where he could be in future.”
The two then popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate the moment.
“Getting a car was not a priority as we first wanted to build a home. God bless Maya he works so hard and makes many sacrifices for us.”
